Nordea Ties Incentive Compensation for Top Execs to ESG Goals

Nordea’s commitment to embedding ESG goals in its Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) is just one of many sustainability initiatives the company has taken in recent years. Nordea is increasingly looking to prioritize sustainability and align with its values. To this end, Nordea is devising strategies to meet a range of performance-based goals related to sustainable finance, climate, and diversity initiatives. These initiatives have the potential to drive long-term growth and create positive impacts on society. As part of these goals, Nordea has pledged to facilitate more than €200 billion in sustainable financing by 2025. This will be directed towards investments that prioritize climate change mitigation and adaptation, promote the circular economy and support biodiversity protection.
