The Exchange is arranging an End-to-End (E2E) test for the migration of Northbound Broker-to-Client Assigned Number (BCAN) file submission and download functions to the Electronic Communication Platform (ECP). This migration test will be conducted from 4 April 2023 to 28 April 2023. It is mandatory for all China Connect Exchange Participants (CCEPs) and Trade-through Exchange Participants (TTEPs) to participate in the E2E test. The test requires CCEPs and TTEPs to complete BCAN-Client Identification Data (CID) mapping file submission via the ECP and ensure the successful registration of at least one new BCAN. Two sets of documents have been published to guide CCEPs and TTEPs to complete the E2E test. In addition, a positive testing confirmation reply to HKEX via ECP is required from CCEPs and TTEPs on or before 28 April 2023. Following the successful completion of the E2E test, mandatory practice sessions for NB BCAN-CID mapping file submission will be arranged for CCEPs and TTEPs to verify their readiness before production migration.
