Burger King has converted 31% of its North American field team vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) in 16 states, with the goal of achieving 100% EVs by 2030. This move is part of the parent company’s science-based targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030. The field team drives tens of thousands of miles each month to provide support to franchisees. Burger King partnered with Element Fleet Management to source and launch the EV program, which was the fastest program launch across the nation to date. The move is a step towards more sustainable practices for the company.
