Barclays and Unreasonable Group will support 200 additional sustainable and environmental impact ventures through the Unreasonable Impact programme, which has been extended for five more years. Since its launch in 2016, the programme has helped more than 250 companies to raise over $10bn in financing and create over 19,500 jobs. The new ventures will have access to mentors and industry specialists to support their growth. Barclays’ programme complements their commercial activities and offers advisory and banking services to participants. The alumni can benefit from being connected to investment opportunities and commercial activities across the bank.
