CBRE Group, a property management group, has formed a global strategic partnership with Deepki to bring Deepki Ready, a real estate sustainability data-intelligence platform, to the commercial properties that CBRE manages for investors worldwide. CBRE has been using Deepki for properties in the UK for over two years and is now deploying it across CBRE-managed properties throughout Continental Europe, with plans to begin using Deepki in the Americas and the Pacific region. CBRE will also make a strategic investment in Deepki, securing a minority share. Buildings are responsible for approximately 40% of the world’s carbon emissions, and many institutional investors and multinational corporations, including CBRE, have pledged to reach net zero emissions by 2040.
