As of June 1, 2023, the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (Amendment) Ordinance 2022 has implemented a licensing system for virtual asset service providers. This means that licensed VASPs are now considered financial institutions under the updated law. The Companies Registry has responded to this change by updating forms related to the disclosure of protected information to include financial institutions as eligible recipients. Examples of updated forms include Form PS3 and Form PS4.
