Toyota has unveiled its plans to manufacture an all-new, three-row, battery electric SUV at its Kentucky plant beginning in 2025. The vehicle will be powered by batteries from Toyota North Carolina, which is currently being built and will receive an extra $2.1 billion investment to help the company achieve its carbon neutrality goals. By 2025, Toyota aims to offer an electrified option for every Toyota and Lexus model worldwide. The company has invested more than $8 billion in its US manufacturing operations in the past two years in support of its product electrification efforts.
