Accenture Ventures has invested in Praxis Labs, a software-as-a-service virtual reality company based in New York that offers an immersive learning platform to help users develop soft skills like equity and inclusion in the workplace. The investment was made as part of Accenture’s Black Founders Development Program, which provides funding, connections, and community engagement to support black entrepreneurs in growing their businesses and creating generational wealth. Praxis Labs uses evidence-based curriculum, learning science, and VR/MR scenarios to improve equity and inclusion, driving individual and organizational change. This investment highlights Accenture’s commitment to reducing the wealth disparities that black founders face, as they receive less than 1% of funds invested in the US. As part of the investment, Praxis Labs will have access to Accenture’s enterprise clients and subject matter experts to scale their solutions more effectively.
