FMC Corporation has pledged $30.5 million to the Zero Hunger Private Sector Pledge, aligning its initiatives with the goal of ending hunger by 2030. Focusing on smallholder farmers, rural women, and youth, FMC will invest in precision agriculture technology, such as its Arc™ farm intelligence platform, to combat pest outbreaks. The company’s commitment also includes the expansion of its STRIDE program, benefiting 175,000 smallholder farmers in India, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Additionally, FMC will establish partnerships in Kenya, India, and Brazil to train youth, empower rural women, and facilitate access to credit for farmers. Innovation and collaboration are crucial to transform the food production system and achieve Zero Hunger by 2030.
