Google Launches New Sustainability Tools to Help Businesses and Cities Map Environmental Information

Google has launched three new APIs as part of Google Maps Platform, providing developers with easy access to solar, air quality, and pollen information for mapping purposes. These APIs utilize AI, machine learning, aerial imagery, and environmental data to deliver real-time environmental insights. The Solar API estimates solar potential for over 320 million buildings in 40 countries. The Air Quality API offers pollution data, aiding decision-making and air quality monitoring. The Pollen API provides pollen counts for common allergens in 65+ countries. These APIs empower businesses, cities, and individuals to reduce their environmental impact and make sustainable choices.
