Novo Holdings Invests $290M in Glentra Capital’s Energy Transition Fund

Novo Holdings, the majority shareholder of Novo Nordisk, is investing $290 million in a new energy transition fund managed by Glentra Capital. Glentra Fund I aims to invest in companies driving the development of renewable energy, such as wind, solar, sustainable fuels, and energy storage. The fund prioritizes environmental, social, and governance measures while delivering attractive returns. Glentra Fund I has received commitments of approximately 60% of its target size and anticipates further investments in the coming months. Novo Holdings and pension fund PKA are aligned with Glentra’s vision and supporting the energy sector’s sustainable transformation.
