HKEX has updated its consultation on enhancing climate disclosures under the ESG framework. They will consider the final ISSB Climate Standard and postpone the implementation date for Listing Rule amendments to 2025. The Hong Kong government will work with regulators to adopt ISSB standards, and the exchange will contribute to the development of a roadmap as a member of the Green and Sustainable Finance Cross-Agency Steering Group.
